9. Uncheck the "Select All" box in the upper-left corner of the screen and click the "Finish" button.

This will bring you to the "Home" screen for your Twitter account. This is where every "tweet" from the people you are following will appear in chronological order so you can keep up on what your friends, family and other church members are doing and thinking.

10. Click on the "Settings" link in the upper right corner.

Here you can change the settings for your Twitter account. The most important settings to remember to change are:

• Time Zone
• One Line Bio
• (optional)Setup SMS Twittering
• Upload a picture of you
• Your homepage design

You can search for and follow new people from the main page in two different ways.

• Click on the "Find People" link in the top menu bar.
• Use the search field in the right panel.

Both of these work, but the best way to find someone is to go to twitter.com/<username>, where <username> is their Twittername.
